Classes
Bull Fighting (Californian Style/Bloodless)
Horse and riders will face down a bull. The objective is to "spear" the bull with a special spear, known as a bandeirilha. Horses and riders are judged on their time, though the attitude of both during the challenge is also taken into consideration. The bandeirilha itself has no sharp point. It is tipped in velcro. The bull wears velcro padding along its back. Riders will stick the velcro bandeirilha somewhere on the padding to stick. The bull's horns are dulled and blocked; there should be no harm to either the bull or the horse.
Course includes: Riding down on the beach next to the lake, open plains, forests with downed trees, and a rocky trail through the mountains.
More advanced teams are encouraged to try the advanced course, a mixture of cross-country and mounted combat. They will also have to hit targets, but the targets are placed along a specific trail through the forest.
Riders will first line their horses up for inspection. Horses should be professionally presented: coat clean, mane and tail neat, halter or bridle only. They will be judged on their confirmation and empowerment.
Next is the In-Hand portion of the class. Horses should have no tack other than some type of lead (bridle, halter, neck-rope, etc.). Handlers must get their horse to display the following for the judge, while leading the horse: slow walk, working walk, slow trot, medium trot, halt, backing up, and turning (left and right).
Working Equitation is the final portion of this event. It is composed of three parts: dressage, ease of handling, and speed. During the dressage portion, horse and rider are required to perform specific dressage movements for about 5 minutes. Afterwards, the horse and rider must complete a medium-sized obstical course. The obstacles include barrels, gates, polls, and a few small jumps. The final portion is speed. The horse and rider will complete the same course they did earlier, but will be timed.
Teams will be required to track and corner the animal of their choice. They must then radio it in to the Show Officials (radios are provided for this purpose). Once the officials confirm a team's location, riders are free to return to the show grounds. They should not try to physically capture or kill the animals in question.
Additional animals (hounds, birds, etc.) are allowed, as are other RPG animals. They will only serve as companions; the horse must be ridden and the main focus. None of the animals are allowed to injure the prey.

X-treme Cross-Country
Riders will ride a set path through SFR grounds. The course will take them through various types of terrain. All obstacles are natural (ie, jumping through hedges or over ditches). The course is a long one; show staff will be set at various intervals in case riders or horses require assistance.Course includes: Riding down on the beach next to the lake, open plains, forests with downed trees, and a rocky trail through the mountains.
Traditional Jousting and Sky Jousting
An event centering around mounted combat. Entrants are allowed to either find another contestant to face of with, or are allowed to pick from a selection of stock horses (here). There will be special rounds for horse and riders with the ability to fly.Mounted Combat and War Games
A course will be set up for combatants to show off their skills in a variety of different events: mounted archery, ace throwing, spearing, etc.. Targets will be set up in a clear, flat field. Riders are judged on their accuracy. Horses are judged on their maneuverability and willingness to charge into battle.More advanced teams are encouraged to try the advanced course, a mixture of cross-country and mounted combat. They will also have to hit targets, but the targets are placed along a specific trail through the forest.
Equitation (In-Hand and Working)
This is a special class in it is a two-parter (or a three-parter if you feel like it). Horses must participate in the Halter and one of the Equitation classes, be it the In-Hand or Working. Horses are allowed to compete in both.Riders will first line their horses up for inspection.

The obstacles include barrels, gates, polls, and a few small jumps. The final portion is speed. The horse and rider will complete the same course they did earlier, but will be timed.
The Hunt
The biggest event of the show, The Hunt is a Dragon Acre's classic. Riders are allowed to participate either alone or in teams. They will pursue either a boar, a stag, or a fox; the boar is worth the most points, but is a much harder animal to catch. It is recommended that only teams of two or more go after a boar. This is the only class were other animals (ie. dogs) may be present for. All animals being hunted are tagged with a tracking collar and color. Teams may only go after the animal with their assigned color.Teams will be required to track and corner the animal of their choice.
Free Class
The last class of the show is the Free Class. Horses and their handlers/riders are allowed to do anything they want. Performances can range from multi-horse liberty to a jump off to a costume class. This class is not judged. Instead, all participants will receive a participation ribbon.Judging

Vibe Check: What is Everyone up To?
Hi, I'm lonely and have no idea where people are chatting these days. Someone please rescue me by talking to me about things.
Emergency Commissions (Closed)
Edit March 25, 2021: Eyy, commissions are still open but not emergencies! Contact info is still the same. Gonna keep this short and simple, I need to raise money to pay off my bills. Due to the ongoing fires and smoke I've had to resign from my outdoor job (thanks asthma). That being said, I'll now have time to do art basically full time again and thus will be relying on it for income. My commission prices can be found here. I'm willing to offer deals on larger pieces or sets. Drop me a note, comment here, or send me a request on Discord (#Spyt1515). Some examples of my art

2020 Commission Slots (June/July)- OPEN
:new: Update 6/25: Due to Eclipse no longer having Sta.sh Writer for journal editing, I have moved my prices and slot list to an (old) Sta.sh file so I can update. There are new art examples and updated prices as well.
Updated 6/22: I have a bit of a higher goal this month due to some unforeseen expenses.
With the new year, I'm going to be organizing my commissions a bit differently. Each month I will have a set number of slots; once those slots are full, no more commissions until the taken slots are already complete.
Depending on the month, I will have a limited number of discounted commissions slots for project types I specifically /want/
